REMINDER NOTICE

PCC Photographic Activity - Photo Shoot
Sunday Morning of the 25th October 2009

• Time: 9:30am
• Location: Garden Island Yacht Club

Important: Please DO NOT board any of the vessels unless invited to do so by the owner!! This condition is for Public Liability Insurance reasons.

Also for those who may want to meet earlier (sunrises at 6:22 am) we suggest you meet at the nearby Fisherman's Dock/Sunday Market for an early shoot and maybe breakfast. Then Move to the Garden Island Yacht Club at 9:30am sharp for the main meet up.

This activity is courtesy of teh Commodore of the Garden Island Yacht Club and fellow PCC member Malcom Siddall who is also a member of the yacht club.

How to get there.

Directions from Elizabeth Way/Town Centre to Torrens Island Power Station, Access Bridge - approx 25.3 km - about 44 minutes.

1. Head southeast on Elizabeth Way towards Gillingham Road - 1.1km
2. Turn right at Philip Highway
3. at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto John Rice Avenue
4. Continue on Salisbury Highway
5. Continue on Port River Express
6. Continue on Francis Street
7. Turn right on Ocean Steamers Road
8. Turn right at Eastern Parade
9. Turn left at Grand Trunkway
10. Turn right immediately aftet going over Road Bridge Before the Power Station
11. The Garden Yacht Club is about 500m on the left - Follow the signs

Those "Early Birds" who want the Fisherman's Dock and Sunday Markets at 6:22am turn left before the bridge to the Power Station

Remember to be at the Yacht Club at 9:30am and maybe YOU will score a boat ride up the channel??
